How to travel as a teen if you don't have money?

Hello again!
I decided to make this post now because in my opinion it's very useful. So - picture this: you have been dreaming about traveling with your friends for years but when you start planning it you realize you don't have enough money. Here are some tips for that kind of situation:

1. Travel off-season
Want to go to Spain? If you have a tight budget, don't travel in the summer when the season is on. Instead find flights for spring or autumn. For example when you compare Tripadvisor's prices for a round-trip ticket to Málaga from London Gatwick for one person in economy class you notice that the price difference is huge:
11.11.-18.11.2017 cheapest price for non-stop flights is 53€
21.7.-28.7.2018 cheapest price for non-stop flights is 288€
See my point? And by the way - both of those flights are from Saturday to Saturday with the same company (Monarch). So here you could save 235€ just by choosing the right time to travel. Of course the weather may not be as nice as in summer but the culture is the same.

Málaga, Spain

2. Travel to cheaper countries
If you are thinking about traveling to Switzerland or traveling to Ukraine and you want to travel cheap - well, choose Ukraine. There are a lot of sites where you can see countries compared by the backpacker index which means how much is the average money spending per day for a backpacker. I used this site but there are other sites of course. According to that site the backpacker index:
-in Zurich, Switzerland is 80,16€ per day
-in Kiev, Ukraine is 15,70€ per day
So if I do some quick calculations a seven day trip to Kiev is 451,22€ cheaper than a seven day trip to Zurich. Think about all that money.
If you don't know which countries are the cheapest I can recommend some to you: Eastern Europe, Botswana, Mongolia, Nepal, Thailand and many more (just google :D).

 Zurich, Switzerland

3. Couchsurfing or Airbnb
I don't have own experiences of these but I have heard a lot of good. The idea of both of these is that you don't have to pay so much for a hotel and the person who lets you stay in their house gets some money. You can check them out here: couchsurfing and Airbnb. These are also good for you if you want to live in the culture, not just chill in the hotel room and go to see the landmarks.

road tripping is also a cheap way to travel - just sleep in the car

4. Ask for money from your parents
Personally I don't like to do this but if you really want to go and you are missing like 200€ you can ask from your parents if they would like to help you pay the trpp. If they ask why they should pay for that ("It's your trip after all") you can use some of these reasons:
-You want to learn to speak another language (improve your English for example)
-With traveling you get to know other cultures and that helps you be more open to other persons
-Traveling helps you be more patient
-It's your dream and you can't miss this chance
-Traveling helps you became more independent
You can also earn the money by doing some chores etc.

That's all for now but if you want I can make another post about this later :) See you!
